ABOUT THE LINE

For over 30 years, Keramika has been developing
full-body porcelain mosaic tiles.

With a portfolio of over 50 colors and 10 formats, the line allows the creation of everything from discreet surfaces to grand layouts, meeting the needs of restoration, residential, commercial, and institutional projects seeking performance, durability, and identity.


The term refers to the presence of the pigment (dye) throughout the entire body of the tile.


At Keramika, the "Massa Plena" (Full Body) is produced in porcelain, combining the integral coloring of the piece with the technical properties of a high-resistance and low-absorption material.


PORCELAIN IS A HIGH-DENSITY MATERIAL, WITH HIGH MECHANICAL RESISTANCE AND EXTREMELY LOW WATER ABSORPTION.


It is produced by dry pressing, without glazing (UGL) and fired at high temperatures, resulting in a high-performance tile, resistant to wear and naturally slip-resistant.


Small variations in shade and subtle irregularities are part of the production process and reinforce the authenticity of each piece. These characteristics are intrinsic to the artisanal process and should be considered part of the tile's identity.

Cotto Ricci is a cladding of perception. The more you observe, the more details you find.

Through years of research, Keramika has developed a collection of exclusive glazes and proprietary formats, building a portfolio that has expanded pagination possibilities and established a new language for projects that value authenticity and materiality.

Each piece is handcrafted from a ceramic base developed by Keramika, composed of 65% recycled tiles, combining research, reuse of raw materials, and manual production in a single cladding.

Molded by hand, dried naturally, and subjected to long firing cycles at high temperatures, the pieces reveal cavities, glazing nuances, small cracks, and natural variations in shade. These are not imperfections to be eliminated: they are characteristics of the process that gives Cotto Ricci its identity.

WATER ABSORPTION OF LESS THAN 0.5% is one of the main characteristics that distinguish porcelain and is directly related to its performance, durability, and suitability for different applications.

Therefore, the material is suitable for indoor and outdoor environments, dry or wet, including facades, swimming pools, high-traffic areas, and restoration projects.

Merges

Compositions built with several assorted colors on the same plate in a random way, choosing a proportion of colors. From 2 to more colors.

Rugs

Compositions with a framed central design. They can be supplied made-to-measure or assembled directly on site, depending on the complexity. They require a project in an advanced stage of detailing.
